ZE to install and runs very well and is quit in operation.
I've had it running for about two weeks and it has been a blessing.
Thank You Assisted Lift for all your help.
My wife, who has interstitial lung disease, was finding climbing the stairs to the 2nd floor exhausting. Seeing the need for a stairlift I contacted two different companies for bids. One was local and one was a well known national stairlift chain. Their bids ranged from a low of $8,000 to $12,500. Both said it would be at least 2 months or more before they could obtain necessary permits and schedule an install. Finding the costs and delay rather excessive I searched for and found this very reasonably priced DIY install stairlift. Once I placed my order the stairlift arrived in 3 weeks. I'm a somewhat handy 72 y/o guy and installed the stairlift by myself. Though it certainly would have been helpful to have assistance I completed the install from start of opening boxes to putting away tools in 5 hours. I took my time and reviewed both the written instructions and the invaluable online videos before each phase of the install. This is a very well designed, sturdy stairlift and I could not be more pleased.
We received the two chairs and the accompanying equipment some weeks ago. Since ordering the chairs my wife has significantly recovered strength and asked that I delay installation of those two chairs until her deteriorating health again says that she needs them.
I appreciate the good interaction with your staff in my ordering and in your shipping of the two products. I look forward to installing them and using them here in the home at some future time yet to be determined. Thanks for all your help and advice about the chairs.
