Excellent company, excellent product, great price, fast shiiping.

I was a bit nervous buying a stair chair lift, much less 2 of them, online. I shouldn’t have been. These stair chairs are very good quality, made in the USA, I got them for my wife who is a below-the-knee amputee. In researching stair chair lots there were a lot of variables to consider. But when I factored all those in with the cost, these lifts came out ahead. Placing the order was easy. Measurement guides are pretty simple to follow and if you have any questions, customer support is very helpful. Took 2 weeks to get them delivered. With 2 lifts that came to 6 boxes. They are heavy as most everything is either steel or heavy-duty aluminum. DIY assembly is easy if you’ve done projects around the house. The most critical part is getting the track set up to bolt down. Vertical spacing between the rail and the stairs is critical. As well is spacing from the wall to the track. I gave myself an extra half-inch on both and that worked out well. Operating the lift via the arm switch or the remote controls in easy and intuitive. The safties work as adveristed and stop the chair instantly. As I mentioned earlier these lifts are very solid. Even with my 300 lbs it lifts easily and hardly and flex felt. I have no doubt these lifts will last a long time time. Only quibbles that I had were with the instruction manual. There are a couple of points that could use clarification to keeo from getting frustrated. The first is that these chairs are designed for either left-hand or right-hand stairs. The manual doesn’t really say which slotted holes for mounting the seat is for which. I ended up mounting them incorrectly and the foot rest kept running into the stair tread. I thought I was going to need to raise all the mounts by about another inch or so to clear the treads. Then I tried mounting the seat into the other slots and that took care of the problem. It looks weird because the chair isn’t centered over the base but other than that it works just fine. The other issue is again, since these chairs are designed to be used on either left or right hand stairs the wiring that you connect up is duplicated so you can plug everything in on either side. The problem is that some of the plugs disappear under the battery during shipping and the manual doesn’t say anything about duplicate plugs and that they may have become hiddern during shipment. Had to call customer service who helped immediately and were very helpful. Finally I don’t think the manual specifically said this, but the lifts are designed to charge from either the top or the bottom of the lift. Both top and bottom charging areas are active once you hook the charger up. Neat feature that I found out by accident. All in all, excellent company, excellent product, and one I would highly recommend.

In my experience, a very reliable company.

When my order was not shipped one week after the estimated shipping date, I became concerned because this was my first experience with Assisted-Lifting. With the prevalence of online and telephone scams targeting seniors I was hoping I had not become a victim. As a retired shop and engineering technology teacher and a long time DYI’er I was attracted to Assisted-Lifting because they sold the equipment without requiring you to use one of their installers. I emailed the company because of my concerns. I received an immediate reply. In addition I received a telephone call from Renae who explained the reason for the delay. She contacted the manufacturer and within days I received a shipping confirmation. The materials arrived soon by FedEx. I am impressed by the quality of the track and stair lift chairs. Also the installation instructions are very clear and concise. Definitely a 5 star provider.
