Return and Refund Policy

Assisted Lifting is the trade name and customer-facing website of IMAG CORP, the legal entity that owns and operates this website and conducts business from 294 Lola Drive, Blairsville, GA 30512.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms of this Return and Refund Policy.

Return eligibility varies by product type and conditions outlined below.

How do I return an item?

Standard Provisions For All Product Return Policies

You should not accept delivery of any dumbwaiter or lift if the crate or product appears to be damaged or defective. Any product that arrives damaged or defective must be refused at delivery so the shipping company can return it to the manufacturer without freight charges to you.

If you accept delivery of a damaged product, you must contact Assisted Lifting customer service immediately at 855-286-5938 for further instructions. Products returned that are not damaged may not be eligible for a refund and may incur additional shipping charges.

Standard Vertical Wheelchair Lifts

Standard vertical wheelchair lifts are defined as residential lifts 52 inches or under with straight-through access and no custom options.

These lifts are eligible for return if:

  • The product is undamaged
  • The product is returned in its original crate and condition
  • The return is initiated within 10 calendar days of delivery

Returns requested after 10 calendar days from delivery will not be accepted.

All approved returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee, plus all applicable shipping charges, including outbound and return freight.

Delivery dates are not guaranteed and may be impacted by circumstances beyond our control.

All returns require prior written authorization from Assisted Lifting. Please contact us at sales@assisted-lifting.com or 855-286-5938 to initiate a return.

Custom Vertical Wheelchair Lifts, Dumbwaiters, Stair Lifts, Elevators, and Cargo Lifts

All non-standard lifts, including custom vertical wheelchair lifts, dumbwaiters, stair lifts, elevators, and cargo lifts, are considered custom-built products.

Construction begins immediately upon order placement. Orders for custom products may not be canceled after placement.

In rare cases, cancellation requests may be reviewed. If approved, cancellation fees of no less than 30% will apply, and approval is not guaranteed.

Wheelchair and Scooter Carriers and Commercial Ramps

Orders canceled during or after shipment are subject to all shipping charges, including outbound and return freight, and a 30% restocking fee.

All returns must be shipped to the manufacturer’s designated warehouse. Returns sent to any other location will not be accepted.

If your order is delivered to a local freight terminal or loading dock, you are responsible for picking up the product within three (3) business days.

Products not picked up may be subject to storage fees or disposal by the freight or warehouse provider if not collected in a timely manner.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe there is an issue with your order, delivery, or product, you agree to contact Assisted Lifting first at sales@assisted-lifting.com or 855-286-5938 so we can attempt to resolve the issue.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that returns, cancellations, damaged shipment procedures, restocking fees, and freight charges are governed by this policy. Chargebacks or payment disputes filed in contradiction of this policy may be contested using order records, delivery records, customer communications, and this posted policy.
